Flat software vs a 25% cut

Costback does not file claims. A commission service that files on your behalf is doing different work — this table is about what it costs you and what it needs from your account, not a claim that the outcome is identical.

When Costback isn’t worth it

If you sell under roughly $150k a year FBA, or you already reconcile reimbursements monthly in a spreadsheet you trust, a flat subscription may cost more than it finds. Run the free estimate first and decide from the number, not from this page.

Is there a free trial?

No. Billing starts the day you subscribe, so we don't call anything a trial. The free calculator is the honest version of a trial: it reads your report and shows you the number before you pay.

What happens if I cancel?

Your subscription ends at the close of the current month. Your cost ledger and claim packages stay exportable for 30 days, and Settings → Data lets you download or delete everything at any time.

Do you charge per claim or per recovered dollar?

Never. The plan price is the whole price, whether Costback finds nothing or finds thousands.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, up or down, from Settings. Changes are prorated on the next invoice; SKU limits apply immediately.

Costback is a software tool for Amazon FBA sellers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Costback does not file claims on your behalf and does not guarantee any reimbursement — Amazon decides all claims. Figures shown are estimates based on your own reports and published industry benchmarks, not a promise of recovery.
